About Me

I am a clinical social worker specializing in couple and family therapy, licensed in Massachusetts. I began my career working with families who need help raising their children and couples struggling with their relationship. Today, my work is also focused on career management, life transitions, relocation for work, and self-improvement issues.

I grew up in Israel at Kibbutz Gat. I received my MSW degree from Bar Ilan University in 1984 and worked in Israel for 18 years as a couple and family therapist in several clinics, including private practice.
In 1989, I moved to the United States with my family and have had my private practice in Newton, Massachusetts since 1990.

I trained as a couple and family therapist at the Kibbutz Child and Family Clinic in Tel Aviv and became an approved supervisor by the Israeli Association for Marital and Family Therapy. I taught couple and family therapy at the Kibbutz clinic and the Barkai Institute for Family Therapy in Israel.
In the US, I taught at the Couple and Family Clinic in the Cambridge Hospital as an officer of Harvard Medical School and trained the clinical staff at the Department of Mental Health of Massachusetts. I have developed a consulting and therapy program for helping to relocate workers and their families and lectured in several clinics on the clinical and social aspects of family adjustment to relocation and a new culture.
I have also consulted to high-tech companies on how to best retain their relocating workers with their families.

I am direct, practical, and personal. I see therapy as a safe place where one can learn and grow.  In our first meeting, we will plan your healing journey together based on your needs and goals.
