COUPLE'S COUNSELING

» Overview | Marital-Questionnaire

"A relationship is like a shark, it has to constantly move forward or it dies."
-Woody Allen

OVERVIEW
A strong relationship is associated with good mental and physical health. I believe that a good romantic relationship is the best therapy that one can get. Yet achieving this level of quality is challenging. Sometimes difficulties are unavoidable, as previous painful experiences interfere with the ability to trust and to form a sound relationship as a couple. Additionally, changes in life circumstances cause stress and conflicts. It is when difficulties persist that couples’ therapy is recommended.

Couple's therapy is often a class on relationships, an opportunity to learn new skills and become informed on the issues. It is a safe place for you and your partner to learn about each other, overcome emotional barriers from the past, and grow together. With the help of a mediator, you can achieve understandings that will help revive the feelings you had in the beginning of your relationship.
